Dahl Subaru is proud to have adopted classrooms at Hamilton Elementary School. Serving our local community is important, and the average teacher spends $750 of their own money on supplies to ensure the best learning opportunities for our youth. A big thank you to all the teachers at Hamilton Elementary, and all of the Schools in our area for everything you do!

Dahl Subaru is proud to have recently completed a blanket donation to one of our local hospitals as part of the Subaru Loves to Care event!

During the Share to Love Event of 2021, when a guest bought a car from Dahl they could pick from 4 national charities and 1 local charity (The Dahl Family YMCA of La Crosse) for Subaru to donate $200 on behalf of them. If the guest picked the YMCA, Dahl Subaru donated an additional $50 on the guest’s behalf. In addition to this, Dahl Subaru donated $5 for every routine service appointment during the sales event.

According to the ASPCA®, each year approximately 6.3 million companion animals enter shelters. At Subaru, we strive to be "more than a car company" and we are committed to helping all animals — including those in shelters — stay safe and healthy.

A core principle of our Subaru Loves Pets initiative is an ongoing commitment to help all pets find their perfect, loving home. We stand by this commitment through a scale of actions; from supporting local pet-adoption efforts to being the ASPCA®’s largest corporate donor. Subaru is proud to have donated over $30 million to support the adoption, rescue, transport, and health of more than 250,000 animals.

Every year in October, we amplify our love of pets by ramping up helpful initiatives during our annual Subaru Loves Pets month. It's our long-standing commitment to help shelter dogs – especially those with special needs like the older, deaf, blind, and “different” dogs that we lovingly call the “Underdogs” – get adopted.

For the third year in a row, Subaru celebrated our National Make A Dog’s Day on October 22. A day where we encouraged all dog lovers to do something extra special for their dogs. This day, combined with Subaru Loves Pets Month efforts, helped many pets find loving homes – including thousands of incredible Underdogs.

On Thursdays We Wear Pink!

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Dahl Automotive again took an active role in helping spread the word.

Breast Cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women and men can also get it. About 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will get breast cancer. The good news is that most can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early. A mammogram – the screening test for breast cancer – can help find breast cancer early when it’s easier to treat. National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a chance to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.

To help raise awareness and display one of our CORE values, during the month of October Dahl Automotive participated in the following ways:

1. We Wear Pink
2. Beginning Thursday 10/1, all team members wore pink polos every Thursday during the month of October.
3. Pink masks – disposable pink masks will also be worn.
4. Thursdays were an additional Charity Jeans Day for the month of October, with all donations benefiting Steppin’ Out in Pink.

Dahl Subaru is donating this 2020 Subaru Ascent to the local YMCA for the Summer to help with transportation in delivering meals to our area youth in need. With the vehicle we have also donated 8 Maluna coolers to help transport these meals in the Ascent.

The pandemic that is devastating our country has left hundreds of thousands out of work and unable to feed themselves or their families. Dahl Subaru wants to help.

Dahl Subaru along with all Southern Minnesota and Western Wisconsin Subaru Retailers have teamed up to donate 113,467 meals to Channel One Regional Food Bank.

The pandemic that is devastating our country has left hundreds of thousands out of work and unable to feed themselves or their families. Subaru wants to help. Through the Subaru Love Promise, a commitment to support our communities, Subaru and its retailers across the country are making a donation to provide 50 Million Meals to Feeding America. This action, called Subaru Loves to Help, is part of Subaru’s effort to make meals available at 199 local food banks across the country.

For the 5th year, the Coulee Region Humane Society partnered with Dahl Subaru to help dogs find loving forever homes and help bring attention to the many cats and kittens in our care. This event is huge for us at the humane society because it gives us an opportunity to go into the community and spread the word about all of the animals that are waiting to find new homes. Additionally, Dahl Subaru covered the cost of adoption for the dogs that were featured making it possible to find homes for harder to place dogs that may have been a resident at our shelter for longer than we would hope for. In the end this event was a great success with every dog being adopted! We're so grateful for our continued partnership with Dahl Subaru.

On September 21st, 2019, Dahl Subaru hosted their 11th annual Lube-A-Thon to benefit the Family and Children's Center of La Crosse. Dahl Subaru's employees donated their time and all of the supplies were donated so that 100% of the proceeds went to the Family and Children's Center to use towards their Child Abuse Prevention Programs in the La Crosse area. This year, we raised $15,000 for the Family and Children's Center. It feels great to partner with an organization that does so much for the families in our community.
